Paradise Anthology Launch 2010
St Kilda Public Library, Sunday 7th February 2010
with guest performances by: Due to a prior commitment I had missed the first heat of the Poetry Idol in December, so it was good to get down to the St Kilda Library to see the launch for this year's Paradise Anthology with some very special acts. Brian Nankervis was an excellent host and I want to go see a taping of Rockwiz now as surely most the funniest stuff would happen off-camera when Brian is warming up the crowd. Special guests for the day included Monique Brumby, Trish Anderson and Michael Crane, Indigo Hotel and Steve Cummings who all played well and I look forward to seeing them in the future. Some of the poets featured in the Anthology also read on the day and were well received. The next Poetry Idol heat is at Geelong Library on Sunday 7th March and I am sure lots of people will make the trip down the highway to see it.
